This is the place where the Nanggonny, the possum, camped when he was a man.  He camped there and then thought he would leave. He walked away to the other side of the hill, he said to himself "where will I go?" Then he heard the Ngayirr- Ngayirr the cockatoo calling out. The cockatoo's wives- two whipsnakes - Wandawardal had taken all the cycad palm trees and were leaving with them. The cockatoo told them "get out" and they turned into two Boab trees. The cycad palms went all over the country. When the possum heard this he said "I'll stay here in my country for good."
