This print shows Yirrimbirrnga thon Borroonoongoo - Pelican and Lacrosse Islands which lie off the West Australian Coast near the mouth of the Ord River at Wyndham. These islands are where the Waloojabi (black headed python) begins its journey. The Waloojabi in the dreamtime lived in a billabong on Pelican Island before travelling all the way inland to Timber Creek in the Northern Territory. On his journeys he created many rivers, creeks, and springs.
