Lightening Dreaming (Jimillwirring) at Booloobooloobi describes an area of country located between Victoria River in the Northern Territory, east of Kununurra to Argument Gap. It is an important place for Lightning Dreaming. The three figures on the print are known as Jimilwiring (Lightning Men). The Jimilwiring are falling through the clouds to strike at Earth. They are all holding in their hands a stone axe that is a lightning bolt that they send down to strike the Earth, hitting trees and killing animals. Hail is falling down to Earth as well, shown in the background pattern. The heavy droplets that are falling from between the legs of the Jimilwiring represents the immense power of lightning.
