'The Waringarri Suite'
Part of the Darwin Festival program, Kimberley Ink celebrates the launch of 'The Waringarri Suite' a deluxe boxed suite of hand-printed etchings combining the finest examples from Waringarri's senior and emerging artists in one collection, including Alan Griffiths, Peggy Griffiths, Mignonette Jamin, Minnie Lumai, Judy Mengil, Phyllis Ningamara, Daisy Bitting, Peter Newry and others.
Produced in collaboration with Northern Editions, 'The Waringarri Suite' comprises 13 etchigns by 13 artists in an edition of 50. Each image is 25 x 25 cm and the collection is presented in a portfolio.
This exciting collection of new works takes on a rich visual journey through Kimberley country. It was created during a series of of printmaking workshops held over 16 months in 2007-08 with Northern Editions.
The Waringarri Suite is priced at $4,400 (GST inclusive).
