Northern Editions feature print

<< Back to enews

Jason Benjamin’s What becomes of us? is one of a series of three evocative black and white etchings currently on display at Northern Editions.

This acclaimed Sydney based artist collaborated with Northern Editions printers at the end of 2008 to produce the first of what will eventually be a suite of ten etchings that are a physical and spiritual response to the Australian landscape.

Benjamin, a highly successful and established painter based in Sydney, enjoys an ever-growing reputation for his works on paper.

The underlying rationale behind this creative endeavour is to highlight Benjamin’s etching practice and to extend
the talents of the artist across printmaking more broadly.

This will result in museum quality works on paper (including the original study drawings and artist proofs) capable of being assembled for the purposes of art museum exhibitions.
